Hello, new owner here

I received a 1967 Olds 98 with a 455ci engine in a raffle last weekend. It's in bad shape, and was built into an art car where it was left outside to be affected by the weather.

I've created a website for it at www.capissen38.com While I like the flamethrower on the back, all the plywood is rotten and I am removing it. The spaceship additions are all held on with now rusty screws and have to be removed. I've removed one sheet of corrugated sheet metal so that I can inspect the body.

So far looks like it's going to be a three to five year project.

But first I have to tune up the engine, fix the brakes that go to the floor, and make sure all the lights work

I'm looking forward to this forum so I can hopefully find hard to find parts, and get advice on fixing it up.

Nice to meet you all.

X2^^^^...."art car"?

Welcome to CO, and I am looking forward to you saving it!
A friend of mine turned his backyard, all 5 acres of it into an "art yard". Started out okay, but know looks like a scrap yard!

Welcome to the site.
Wow - that is CRAZY looking! That speaker thing on the roof reminded me of the horn that the Blues Brothers had on their old Polara.
I think the decal on the front fender is a keeper though.
What is the plans for this? Compete resto or driver? Create a thread for it and keep us posted on the progress!
