Hello my name is Tommy from Dayton, Ohio

Hi everyone out there in Oldsmobile land. My name is Tommy and I am 63 years old. I owned a 67 Cutlass 442 Hurst maroon with black interior that I purchased in 1970. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved that car. Unfortunately I lost the car and the girl. 40 years later I found the girl. Now we are restoring our lives and we purchased another 1967 Cutlass Supreme that we are cloning into a 442. I uploaded some pictures of the car in progress to an album on my profile page. The car is in the paint shop right now. I got all my interior from Legendary Auto Interiors and I think I have one of the best interior guys around. I couldn't find a decent 400 engine so the guy helping me restore my car had a chromed out 350 Rocket and 3 speed transmission that I am putting in. All chrome has been re-done and the car now has tubular suspension, Hotchkis swaybars, QA-1 High Performance shocks, Positraction and all wheel disc brakes, electronic ignition, new fuel lines, new trunk pan, gas tank, all new undercoating, frame is in excellent condition. We didn't put stock wheels on it as you can see I put Ridler 20" in back and 18" in front. I have many leftover used parts, emblems, consoles, turn signal lights, backup lights, some chrome to sell if anyone is interested. I also have a 1972 Cutlass Holiday Coupe (thanks Pat) that I am selling. It's too soon to do another restoration Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this organization. Tommy and Debbie

Welcome, thanks for sharing your project. That's gonna be a nice ride soon, and I bet you can't wait to get the paint over with.

Let us know how it turns out.

Eric My original olds 442 in 1970 was maroon.
This time around I'm going with Spanish red a popular color at that time.

Thanks Don. It's in the paint shop now. You can see the color we are using in my album. I will post pics as it progresses.
