Hello from Kansas

Glad I found this forum. I recently acquired a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Wagon. My wife's grandpa purchased it new in '70 and drove it daily until he passed in the early 80's. It was passed around from family member to family member until '93 when it was parked due to mechanical issues. Its a complete and straight car but has a lot of rust in the rear quarters. Hopefully I'll be able to find some reproduction quarters or another way to fix it

Looking forward to learning about a new (too me) brand!

Welcome. That is a good story about the car being in the family since new. You have found a good brand and a good website. There are lots of folks here with lots of knowledge who are glad to share it. 1970 was a very good year for Oldsmobile. Most of the wagons we see are Vista Cruisers which are the ones with the glass in the roof. Yours is cool in that it is a flattop wagon. Do you know if it has a 350 or a 455?

It has a 350 and 3 speed auto. I'm assuming it's a th350? I was happy to see that it has a dual pot master cylinder and disc brakes up front too.
