Hello... finally.
Have been a lurker for some time. Did not want to join and not be able to post pics as "One of the boys" with an Olds. The wonderful auto with which I have been allowed stewardship has been in a marathon restoration for almost 10 years. Before that it was in storage from 1982 until 2003.
Day after tomorrow we're putting the car on the street for some braking torture tests and then trailering to paint for a sand, clear coat, and buff. Then on to the top shop. Then... its off to Sonic for a Cheeseburger and a Shake.
Looking forward to reading about your Olds and maybe get some tips. Thanks for reading and hope you appreciate the work that has been done on the car. Its as close to the way I received the car from Meador Olds in Fort Worth on May 5, 1972. Now if I could just find a way to turn back the clock on me.
