Hello all

Just got my hands on a 1976 cutlass supreme and have a hard time with what size engine is is it. Found nothing to tell me under the hood and the vin number is only 13 number and i am unable to find a site to look it up, any help would be nice and thank you.

Welcome to CO. There is a vin decoder in the Tech tools section, and also info on where to look for block id numbers and head specs. Or post a pic. I love getting car insurance quotes and have them telling me I'm missing digits in my vin#

Post the car's VIN here, and we'll have some fun with it. Post a photo of the cowl tag as well, and several regulars on here will be able decode it and tell you more about what options were originally on the car.

Also, before anyone else says it, photos. We want to see photos.

The car was my grandfather he passed in 85 so my Grandmother learn to drive and drove it up in till 9 month ago( she just turn 102) so now i have it. When i got it, it had just under 25k miles on it. Thank for the info and i will try to get some pics posted.
