Hello all...

Hi,

I currently do not have an Oldsmobile at the moment. I used to have a 1962 light Blue Starfire and a 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass (Brown with light Tan vinyl top) that I drove for 10 years that survived hail damage and other calamities only to die in a flood in 1994, the worst flood in more than 200 years in The Woodlands, TX.

Does that count?

However that being said, I have good friend, Curtis Hart that owns the Muscle Car Ranch "The Woodstock of all Swap Meets", located in Oklahoma that has a beautiful 1969 Hurst Olds 455. He also owns several late 60's Torandos as well.

I joined this forum so I could let people know about this great Hurst Olds and that he is selling it in case there are any Hurst enthusiasts that might be interested in buying it.

I created a web page with all of the specs, contact info and some history about Muscle Cars (most of you already know this already; its for those that didn't grow up in the era)

I'll post that in the For Sale section.

Growing up in the 50's and 60's with Institutions like Sears, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Studebaker, American Motors Rambler (did he actually say Rambler???) It was hard to fathom or understand it when Oldsmobile announced they were shutting the doors.

That's not supposed to happen.

It was very sad to see the end of a Dynasty.

funds are a little low, but i'm working on a big database project that I hope, when it's finished, I'll be able to buy a fleet of cars if I want to.

I'd settle for an old Starfire, a Toranado, and a few others.

Welcome to CO Wiz. There are still Starfires and Toronados out there to be had, just not as many as there are Cutlass's and such. Get that project done and get yourself one!
