I recently purchased a 77 442 with some front end damage. I need the header panel. I found one from a 4 door, but I'm told that it won't fit on a 2 door car. Does anyone know the difference between the two panels & if it will fit with some modifications. It is the slanted panel.

 

I see three headers listed. One for sedan and wagon, one for coupe (exc 442) and one for 442 only. #22504388

Not even close. In 1977 the four doors and wagons used completely different front fenders from the two doors. The header panels do not interchange. Even the square 2dr and 4dr headers do not interchange due to shape of the fenders.

 

I'm new to this site. How do I find the header panels you listed? Thanks for the help. I found one 442 header for $250. That seems a little steep, or not?

 

Ok ,my bad. I understand what you are saying. Now I just need to find one. And the grills.
