Greetings from Pennsylvania

Hi All, Greetings from the record breaking snowfall area of PA. [breaking along with my back from all the shoveling!**LOL**] I have been an Olds fan before years ago, with a 79 Cutlass me and a good friend dropped a 455/TH400 into... had to sell due to new little ones in the family and only 2 doors.

Now I'm back, all these years later. I've just picked up a 1964 F85 for way cheap and I'm going to get it on the road as a daily driver. The young kid who had it bought it and put new duals on it, and a new radiator, tune up stuff, etc. ... but lost interest and no longer wanted the Olds... I got it for 300 bucks!!! It is a 4 door though, but somehow over the years I've developed a real liking for 4 door sedans. This year sedan looks very good as a 4 door and all the good stuff bolts up just the same. I've got my feelers out on a sweet 455/400 combo again... [shhhh,, don't tell the wife.. hahaha!] My goal is to do a resto-mod with some modern parts and upgrades but keep it all original looking. I'll have to figure out how to post pix, so yous can see how it's going. This looks like the place to be! Cheers! Mike

Hi Jamesbo and Oldsguy! Thanks for the greetings. I'm in York... It's about 30 miles east of Gettysburg and 25 miles or so north of the Maryland state line. I'll be getting plenty of pix of the car as soon as it gets here.. **LOL** I was planning to tow it home, but therecord snowfall here has buried everything. The tow truck is buried up to the doorhandles, and the car is at the top of a super steep driveway. Hopefully everything will work out. I'd really have liked to get it here sooner, as it would have given me something to do in the garage while being snowed in. Cheers, Mike

**LOL** Yes, I thought it might give me away.. western PA is cool, I'd like to check it out sometime. Born here and likely live here till I die. BTW... did you know 80% of the people born in PA, stay in PA? Crazy, ain't? **LOL**!!! Also, York is home to the former US30 Dragway, and home of the Eastern Street Rod National meet. Carlisle is not too far from here either. Cheers, Mike

Ah, it works! Sorry about the crappy shots... this is still over at the sellers house. The interior looks pretty good, considering it's age. I'm sure I'll have more questions concerning upholstery and door panels. I guess I'll add future pix to the project section? Thanks, Mike

Talking Welcome to CO

Hi there, the four doors are getting more popular here. Your's looks to be in good shape. With a 455 it will make a great sleeper.
