Well, im a chick that turns wrenches Lol.
just purchased my first project build which is a 79 Olds 88 Royale with 46k original miles.
350 4bbl. I hope to learn a ton from everyone here and maybe make a few friends along the way.
Welcome to the post, my sister and her best friend Drag Raced years ago, and my daughter is a fair wrench. Give my wife a carburetor, and she'll make it run right.
My MOM had a 55 Olds 88 4 dr. and I liked to go with her to the store and sit in the Olds and start it up while she was shopping. Then after the Army I bought a 50 Olds and a 55 HT to drive around and did some drag racing at Fremont drags in Calif. Then I bought my 64 Cutlass light green a 2 dr HT. I was towing a 55 Packard down a hill and flipped it over and went to the wrecking yard and bought a 64 Cutlass Conv't and installed my front end and painted the front end yellow to match. Sold that one and bought a 70 W-30 non matching motor but had a W-27 3.42 rear end. Lots of Olds after that now I only have a 65 Cutlass I'm trying to work on but having Health issues right now. And this virus thing isn't helping right now. Yes these were my cars but sadly gone but I still have pics. They were all great cars and I drove them all.
Holy smokes beautiful cars! Hope they went to good homes, so many of these cars have been destroyed by stupid demo teams and circle track racers. Thank You for sharing.
