Greetings from Damascus, OR
Looking forward to participating and hoping that I may find some spare parts for my hard to find parts for 1953 Olds 98 Holiday Coupe!

Neat looking car and it will be lots of fun! You are just down the road from me. I was looking through my old papers and I see that one of the automotive services I use is in Damascus - it's called Automotive Friction Co., Inc. (20521 SE Hwy 212), and they rebuild water pumps. If you ever need that service, they are great! I don't know (and wouldn't be surprised) if they provide other automotive services as well, but they do a great job with water pumps! Welcome aboard!

Yeah and it's as straight as it looks too! Have been invited to put it in the PDX Roadster Show this coming March. Was not going to until I learned they have went back to invite only.
Somethings that most people don't notice on the 55. All chrome except the Chevrolet emblems on the front fenders has been shaved. Rear bumper is a 55 Nomad so that the license plate as a home. Has electric doors and rear deck lid, actually shaved the door handles then put them back on as the sides were too clean. Liked the nice thin profile of the handles.
My Olds is all original except for the radio! Everything else is a rebuild or rechrome of the orginal parts. Car originally was purchased from a dealer in Seattle and we purchased it about 10 years ago from a gentlemen in Hood River OR.
