Hey all, good to be home...among the other fanatics. Am looking for new information and some stories, some pic's of prized cars. Also on my own quest for my [former] 69 W-31, a Aztec Gold Holiday hardtop, 4speed,Cutlass S model. Was sold to Gates Toyota in South Bend IN 1986. Any leads or info would be greatly appreciated. Hey "Paladin!" (Brett) WELCOME aboard! GREAT name! GOOD luck on the quest to find your car; sounds pretty unique so surely SOMEONE's got it out there somewhere!! Do you still live in or near Indiana?? Take care!

Any connection to "Have Gun, Will Travel?"
As far as finding your old car, just casually asking around about it will likely be as successful as finding a needle in 10 haystacks.
If you really are serious about finding that car, you should start with the dealer you sold it to. Gates Toyota is still in business.

Perhaps it's unlikely now that it's been 25 years, but it's certainly worth a call to find out if they might still have records from back then. Things were more paper-oriented and less electronically-oriented back in those days, so who knows what might be in a file cabinet in a back room somewhere, especially if the dealer is still in the same location.
Back in the mid-90s I wrote to the dealer who had originally sold the '75 Delta 88 I had just acquired. He still had paperwork on the sale and was able to give me the name and address of the original purchaser.
Consider, too, though, that your car may have since been junked for one reason or another and is now a part of someone's refrigerator somewhere.
