Hello Friends.
I am happy to join a group of like-minded people, where we can kick virtual tires...
By the way, my avatar is from the good ol'days and it is a wishful and sentimental thinking on my part.
A short history of my love affair with Toronados.
I fell in love with a nice 66 Toronado in 1973 and had it restored in 76... drove it every day for about 12 years after that.
Eventually, I owned a blue 69 with a 400HP engine, a gold 73, a burgundy 77 and a white 78.
I drove each of those for years and years. Most of the time having at least two on the road.
Had a brown 79, a grey 82 and a blue 84.
I had lots of fun with those cars also.
Just recently parted out a blue 86 and put the rebuilt motor into a black 86 that I drive proudly every day.
My secret for having all these cars and at the same time, maintain marital harmony was a simple idea: I always gave the nicer car to my wife...
My favored car related pass time is to go to the local Oldmobile meet on Father's day and talk with other car buffs.
I am looking forward to being involved with you folks on this forum.
Regards,
Stephen I. M.
