Glad to be in good company
Hello to all,
I'm happy to have found a site with many like minded folks. I look forward to the interaction and fellowship. Little about me you ask? I've owned Oldsmobiles since I was 16. (37 now) Currently I'm restoring/ restifying the White 1985 442 I purchased 15+ years ago. 100k miles and very solid body. As mentioned, it is white, which I believe is a rare color, maroon interior, T-Tops and includes all options except power trunk release. I've built a .30 over 455 Olds very similar to the Car Craft rebuild specs a few years ago. My hope is to have it look as if this was a factory option. Anywho...right now I'm in the process of painting.
Look forward to speaking with you all.

You bought that car when it was still a baby didn't you? Looking forward to hearing more about your swap. I now lots of G body big block swaps have been done so there should be some good information out there to help you along. Doing it for an OE look though, don't think I have ever seen that done. Welcome to CO.
