Glad to find this forum

It's great to find this forum for Olds enthusiasts. I recently repurchased my first car after 30+ years on the lam. I originally bought the 72 442 convertible as a high school senior in 1977 for $2400. The car is pretty much in the same condition today and has only 28k more miles than when I sold it in 1983. I plan on keeping it this time around.

Welcome to the site... Nice looking ride... Not to often do you get a chance to repurchase a vehicle from the past, especially 30 years in the past and still have it in that condition...

I bet it costs you more than $2400 this time

Congrats. Love stories like yours. A friend of mine repurchased his '69 Mercury Cyclone SCJ after 19 years. Almost in the exact condition he sold it in except 100 more miles

Sharp ride, and a cool story! I'd love to find my first 442 and Trans Am.

Thank you all for the comments. I am looking forward to the forum. And yes, it did cost me a little more the second time around - about 10x the original purchase price.
