Getting my feet wet
Getting my feet wet
Greeting All!
Just wanted to say "Hi". I have 2 67 442's I'm gently restoring. Got to admit that I've been a lurker for over a year. Now it's time to make friends. I'm not a young one by any means. My first car was a 67 442 post coupe I got back in '72. I STILL have the tri-carb manifold I had someone "procure" for me for it way back when. People didn't ask questions then. They just mentioned what they wanted. Had headers, dual oil filters mounted on the wheelhouse, and a Vertex Mag. Wish I still had it, but the young are foolish.
Ron Roth (what a great guy) already has both dashes, and I'm just waiting for the weather to get warm enough to get them out of the garage to play with.
Hoping for a great ride with you all!
Paul

Thanks for the welcome, guys!
I don't have a lot of pics that are decent, but here is a rough one of one when I got it. Was dark turquoise but somebody got loose with a can of white Krylon. Not a pretty sight and just plain wrong. In the process of making it new. Black plate car with original drive train. Hadn't run since the 80's. Last registration expired in '76. Took a while to get it running (1.5 hours) but it runs sweet.
I'll put some more up of this one and my other later on.
