hey Guys!

First post on the site. Just bought my first classic Olds. 1968 Cutlass hardtop. I've wanted one since I was little and I finally had a chance to get one. It needs some loving and some parts so I'm sure I'll be posting lots of requests for help and info...I've never had a car quite like this before.

Thanks
CincySabre

Looks like you got a nice one! There are lots of 68-69 A-body owners at this site - lots of expertise to tap when you have questions. Enjoy!

And that will be a good place to meet other 68 owners and find parts in the swap meet. I think cutoff date for Nats registration is past, but I've never known a Nationals host group to turn away interested spectators. Wear a 68 t-shirt if you have one, and if you don't there are several designs featuring them.

It doesn't look too bad in the snow, either.

it looks to me that somebody took all the chrome off. I don't see the drip rail chrome and the body line or the lower chrome. Has it had a repaint? It looks pretty good without any chrome. I think it is a nice ride. Nice.

Nice! I can see that car with deep offset painted rims on the rear and dog dish hubcaps around. The epitome of a sleeper! 496 pump gaser with a stick. Carpet, radio, heater delete! Keep the Cutlass bumper with the dual turn-downs too! Bench seat? Or Buckets console delete.
