Greetings All,
Been watching the action on this forum and like what I see. Figure it's time to join in.
Currently Oldsmobile-less. Actually have never owned one as of yet.
Grew up next to a 74 or 5 Hurst Olds neighbors wife's car. T tops smashed out of it so it sat with plastic over the busted panels for who knows how long.
Also in the neighborhood was some Hurst version of an 88? mid/later 70's model. Car was only a few years old jacked up and Cragar 5 spokes on it.
Included as we would be an 83 Cutlass Salon V8 factory styled steel wheels body color dark blue over blue velour.
Owner of that would trade it on one of the first 1985 442's to be on the street from Hames Olds Palos Hills Illinois.
I definitely keep eyes on the "marketplace" for cool cars if they become available and happen to be reasonably priced Guess I would mainly focus on the 71 and 2 98's.
Looking forward to the interacting.
Peace

Welcome to the forum.
This sounds just like a car my neighbor bought back in the early 80s for parts for his Salon. Nasty divorce resulted in bricks though the glass, which led to ruining the swivel seats and Dual Gate shifter, and lots of other vindictive damage to the vehicle that changed it from a nice car into a parts car.

Thanks for welcoming me on.
Greetings to former Park Forest. I work over that way.
The Hurst car I can't remember how the tops got destroyed. At the time the car belonged to a newly married smoking hot Greek chick. No divorce ad they're still together.
My own research found the other car I thought to be a Hurst actually a pace car Delta 88.
Peace
