Howdy. My name is Dan. I'm currently running a "stock" 1976 Olds 350/turbo 400 in a 1979 Seville. I am the third owner of the vehicle, that started out as a diesel in Sactramento, Ca. I purchased the car in 1998 from a man in McMinville, OR. He worked for the Cadillac/Oldsmobile dealership and aquired theSeville when it was traded in. He replaced the diesel with the 1976 gas engine.

When I bought it, there was 125,00 on the odometer. I replaced the origonalTurbo 400 with a unit that was built to run in a Pontiac Tempest bracket racer.

Modifications to the engine are in progress. I currently have Sanderson headers flowing into a smithy/Flowmaster exhaust, which creates a nice mellow sound, not too overpowering for a Cadi.

I'm in the process of installing an Edelbrock 2711 intake and a Holly 625 cfm carb. I've replacedthe old radiator with an aluminum unit, electric cooling fan and high flow water pump. I also replaced all the old brake rotors and calipers, new shocks, etc. Stock wheels and tire have been replaced with Wheel Vintiques steel 16x7 wraped in 205x60x16 rubber.

I plan to replace the heating and A/C with a Southern Air system. The body and interior are all stock and in excellent condition. The factory paint is Colonial yellow, and yes, it still has the vynl top.

The radio is the stock unit, but I replace all the speakers with Sonys. Further plans are for a hiden unit and power amp.

This is no street rod, but a nice comfortable cruiser. I have been getting 16 mpg in town and 22 on trips.

Posative comments and suggestins will be appreciated. Especailly on spelling and grammar.

Glad to have you with us Dan. As long as you try your best we don't much care about the occasional mis-spelled word, we all do it. Welcome to CO.
