Its a BIG country and lots of uninhabited regions. C'mon now, you gotta know that not everyone has a newfangled puter thingy in their igloo! And this 'car stuff'? Who wants or needs a car in a land where most of the time we're covered with snow? Next thing you'll be talkin plain crazy talk bout indoor lektricty and inside running water??? Well, nuff said, gotta go harness up the dogs for a trip to Canadian Sledrunner

Don't know about Calgary, but Ken and I have our locations posted in Edmonton area.

Shows in the Edmonton area? Yup, got lots of show n shines. + we have the Olds Rocket Roundup happening in July in the Town of Olds (no bull, there is such a place) at Hildebrandt Motors.

Looks like you have a resto in progress if that's your car in the avatar. Is it a reall W-25 OAI? That will be sweet when it's done. What is your finishing color?

If you decide to come to Edmonton let me know. We could compare notes on our cars!

Got me one of them gas saws fer cutting logs. Couldn't get more'n 3 trees cut and split in one day so I called the idiot that sold it to me. He came out to check it out. Pulled on this handle thingy and the saw started makin a roaring sound. 'What's that noise?" I hollered

You got them new 3 hp Bear team matched sets or still usin the old 3/4 Tundra pullers?

Got me a new granite block and I'll be whittlin it down to size for the start of the Curling camp in Aug. I like the curling camps cuz we spend more time checking whether Molsons can out do Labatt, Coors, Miller, Bud or Keiths. So far they've been pretty much in a dead heat....

yea thats the car in the avatar. working on doing a frame on deal now and down the road when i have a better place do a frame off. and to be honest with you im not sure about it being the real w-25. since its a 72 i would need the build sheet to verify this correct? its not a w-30 car but i was told the hood was origional. as for the paint im thinking a semi gloss black for now that i can spray myself without it looking terrible until i can afford to give it a nice paint job in a years time or so.

In for AZ!

Hey All!

Just threw my dart on the board! Great idea Wasted and good to see a few other Olds guys here in AZ. I don't get down to Tucson much, but if anyone is ever going to be @ a show in the Phx area let me know and we will exchange info. I attend the Goodguy's Nats every chance I get but was in the UK for the Spring nats . Looks like the Southwest Nats. are coming up Nov. 18-20. My car is in no shape to drive at the moment but I have a newly rebuilt engine that I need to button up and drop in. While I am at it I need to go through the tranny, and the rearend, and...and...and... One of these days I will be able to get it out!
