"Barn Find" 72 Toronado

I recently acquired a 72 Olds Toronado as part of a family estate. I has been in dry warm storage for the last 25 years. It has 47,000 miles and is in excellent shape. Starts right up and runs beautifully. I have another car project that I am working on so I would like to flip this car. It really doesn't need more than a good detailing. The only issue is the trunk floor covering. When the house that the car was garage in sold the car was moved and left outside for some months. It appears that there was a leak in the trunk and the floor in the trunk was wet. I removed and dried the carpet. It appears to be OK. What I will need to replace is the cardboard/hardboard floor cover that was glued to the trunk floor. I was unable to remove that unit in one piece due to water damage. Good news is the the metal is still in excellent shape. Is anybody aware of a replacement for this stiff cover? If not, I would be interested in what alternatives some of you used if you had the same issue. I am attaching a few pictures of the car. Any help appreciated. Looking over the forum brought back many painful memories of the 1967 Olds 442 W-30 that I sold. Dumbest move I ever made. Looking forward to some direction.

Wow, that looks nice. I'm sure you can find those trunk trim pieces, maybe even from a forum member here who has parted one of those cars. A lot of them got scavenged for their engines.

I live in Spokane, WA. The car was originally purchased near Whitefish, Montana and stored in Sweethome, Ore. when the owner moved there.

Thanks for the compliment. If I was not so deep into another car project, I would be very tempted to hang on to this one. It will make a great car for somebody.

Looks pretty solid.

Are you sure it's a 72 ?.

While the side body door ding moldings are generally found on 72's - that car has a 71 trunk lid.

Can't see the front end well enough to see if it has the rubber strips on the bumper (72) &/or the grills.
