Back out of the barn
Hi I'm the new kid on the block I'm JIM from Northern California.Bought my first olds in 67 it was a 53. I've Had a few since then. My current project is a 69 S convertible I originally bought in 1990 , drove for a while then disassembled it to restore it and haven't touched it in almost 25 years. It needs a lot of work and I'm going to need a lot of help, so thanks in advance. I'll post some pics soon

Been a long time since mines been on the road, and a little work turned into a body off resto lol...
Please post some pics, folks here are VERY knowledgeable, and the best bunch of guys if you need some no bs advice.

Welcome to the site Jim! What part of NorCal are you in? I'm just over the border in Medford Oregon and I know there's several members here who live around the Bay area. There's lot of knowledge on the site when it comes to 1969's so when the questions arise don't hesitate to post them. When you have time you can read through some of the old posts especially the major build threads to see what has been discussed in the past.

Welcome. Well Jim you live just below my back yard, I'm up the hill about 20 miles out of Forest Ranch, you may have seen my 55 at some time, we often do a hamburger run or car show in the summer in Chico. Give me a PM if you would like to have a cup of coffee and talk Oldsmobile's some time. ...Tedd
Hey Jim!
Welcome to this site! I have a '68 vert that came from the Portland, OR area and a '69 vert that came from Van Ness Olds in San Francisco. Lots of expertise on this site with those years and feel free to take advantage of it! I know that I did and still am! It's here for the taking and you will find this site to be very user friendly! And fun, too! Enjoy!
