Back in the fold
Hi everyone,
Just resurrected my password and looking forward to contributing and learning.
In my former life I owned a beautiful '67 442 post which i sold in 1971 to buy our first house. Ya, I know, not so smart. I still yearn for the car, and hope someday it will show up on these pages, or in a barn, or in someone's back yard.
So, to compensate, we bought a '67 2 dr HT in 1984. Red, 23K on the odometer. Still have it, still love it. Has a 330-320hp with a 2 spd auto. Two years ago I found a '67 Supreme Turnpike Cruiser with 62K on it. Nice car...almost piled it up during Rockin August when the 2 bbl linkage stuck in WOT. On the agenda is a 4bbl. Still wondering what is the best cam to slip into this 400.
Also, 4 years ago I picked up a '68 Vista Cruiser in Regina. Pretty nice shape, but very dirty. Had been sitting for 12 years. New carpet, cleaning of the 400 A/C engine bay, replace intake man gaskets, new carpet. It has been a pleasuralbe driver this summer. It floats like the boat it is.
Thats it. Three Cutlasses, or is it Cutlassai?

So now its almost summer, and the TC will need some attention.
Has anyone waked up a 400 2-bbl with a 4 bbl, and a 442 cam? Any advice for my own preparations to do the same? Cam specs, type of intake manifold etc. would be appreciated.
