Back again

This time a little bit more on me and my car. I'm in Indiana and I owned my 1972 Cutlass S since 2005. I am the third owner and I bought it with my own money when I was 19, I was in the military so a lot of in between time was spend for the car sitting and doing nothing. I spend a lot of money on the engine and now finally on the paint job. Its been a long 9 years of pure love hate relationship. about a year ago being hard strapped for cash and not having a place to put her away I almost sold it. But instead I traded my motorcycle for a paint and body restoration to a friend of mine. Previous color was mustard gold with white racing stripe and white vinyl top which I really did not like on the car. Now its midnight pearlescent blue with black stripe no vinyl top, interior is still white but that is going to change at a later date. I did purchase a carbon fiber 442 scoop hood replica for it and put a posi with 3.73 gear in it. It is by no means a 100 points resto but the way I look at it is and always will be cars were built to be driven and as such I want her to look nice but be practical and a daily driver. some pics not many waiting for final product.

Great story, glad you held out for the finish. How come you put Chevy stripes on the rear deck?

That's the stripes it had on it in white with the gold color and they looked really nice on it so I went with the same pattern. Thanks for all the comments, yes I do believe that it was well worth the trade.
