Hey guys. My name is Mike and I just purchased a 1971 442 which has a AOI that was not hooked up, it just sat on the car..no vacuum hoses or air cleaner. I bought the vacuum hoses for the air cleaner assembly and AOI but When I went to hook it up, I discovered that the air cleaner assembly does not have the small housing that the vacuum latches onto. I dont know what this part is called but when I look at the base of the air cleaner, I see two small holes where this part should be. Can I use any air cleaner part form another assembly or do I need the actual on e that came with this assembly when it was new?
