Smile Another Texan

I am in the process of trying to rebuild a 1972 Olds Cutlass Supreme. It was bought new by my father-in-law and now my son wants it. It has been sitting for about 10 years. Has a lot of rust on the body. I am thinking a body transplant might be good. I am in North Texas (Dallas Area) and would like to find a donor close. Any help appreciated.

Welcome! Seems like quite a few of us down here...
Post pics of the car soon so we can see the beginning of the project. I hope your son is wanting to get deeply involved in it. Would be a great father & son project!

Welcome to Co

Another Texan, they're growing like weeds around here. Sounds like at least 1/4 of the Oldsmobiles are in Texas.

Lets see some pictures.

Welcome

Welcome aboard

You are indeed in good company with Rob and Richard in Texas [which would be the 3rd largest state if you cut Alaska in 1/2]

Welcome to CO from also here in North Texas. So how bad is the rust? Texas bad or Ohio / Michigan bad. Share some pictures of what you are dealing with.

Welcome aboard. I've seen a number of them on Craigslist recently in OKC and Tulsa. Also, there is a salvage yard here in Kansas that specializes in GM/Olds that may have what you need. Kansas isn't that far from Dallas... OK is small
