Another old fart joins from Iowa

Hi all,
This looks like a great forum for parts, advise and connections. I look forward to talking to some of you.

Hi Steve,
Welcome to the club. This is a great site, especially for passing info and tapping into technical expertise. I found out so much here while I was restoring my '68, which I finished in 2007. If you are in doubt, be sure to ask. Someone here always has the correct answer, for which I am most grateful!

Welcome to the site Steve! Please post pictures of your car when you have time. There's a lot of 1968 owners here and a couple I'd consider gurus, so any issues that come up please post them. John

Welcome to C.O. Steve

How is it that everyone but me has a vert? Even John ^^^ is making a vert out of that 68 442 of his. Just add a hood, r.s fender and it's done.

All kidding aside. This is a great site to be part of. Most of the experiences I've had have all been positive. And I've learned a lot too. Once you get to know some of the guys, it's kind of like an extended family. You'll find yourself sneaking onto the computer at work to talk to us....

No. Us Iowans don't get out much. :-) Thanks for the info though. I live only 120 miles North of Des Moines.

I don't remember hearing any stupid questions.....what I always suggest to folks is 'it's dumb NOT to ask a question if you're not sure'. The answer may be contrite in some cases, but it serves to reinforce what you need to know. I think most of us on this site have the good sense to realize when someone is posting because they just don't know. I'm just as guilty.....but that's how you learn.
