Hey group! I guess I am another newbie even though I have had an Olds before. Now I have a newbie to me. In Jan. I picked up a black 75 Hurst W-30 from one of the local junkyards. The body has one small dent and a .50 cent size rust hole in the front fender and came with a spare set of T tops. We cranked it up and drove it on the trailer then home. Now the fun has started. I rebuilt the tranny, added a stall converter then the engine adding performance cam, and related items along with aluminum intake. This Friday I paint the engine then install on Sat and run on Sunday if the sunshine and beverages hold up. My first show will be on 6/25 then 4th of July parade- only a few burnouts in the parade. In my spare time I have cleaned and done some detailing under the car on the frame, engine compartment, replaced all the brakes, painted the wheels and installed new tires. I am happy to be in this group and hope to send pics soon. Thanks, Brian
