also from Ft. Wayne!!!
Greetings and salutations fellow Oldsmobile fans!!! I have recently purchased(from the original owner) a 1973 Cutlass S. The car is pretty rare I would believe. The options include 350 Rocket, 4speed, 373 posi, NO console, swivel buckets, no a/c. This car was ordered by the original owner in 1972 from Collins oldsmobile here in Ft. Wayne were he worked as a mechanic. I know there are more 4spd. 73's out there but this is the first one I have ever seen. The car is in what I would call poor shape but it has enough good with it that I think I am going to restore the car. I am looking for some parts and will post pics of what I need to find. I really like the second generation GM A bodied cars, I currently own a 73 Chevelle and a 74 Monte as well. I look forward to working on the Cutlass and any help/ input You can give me. My first question is how rare is it to have a 4spd 73 Cutlass?

I am by no means trying to drive you away from this site, but there is another Olds forum that, if you don't already know about, you ought to check out. It's the '73-'77 Olds forum.

Those guys know the A-body cars of your era like the backs of their hands, so they'll be a great help in getting advice and finding parts. The post-'72 era of Cutlasses is not supported in the aftermarket the way the '72 and earliers are, so a good network of knowledgeable people is a must.
So as I say, stay here, of course, and share your restoration with us. But check that other site out, too.
