Greetings. First I want to say outstanding site for olds information and knowledge. Not normally a forum poster but for this site I just had to. I found this site two months ago and as my car is almost finished I thought I'd share it with everyone.

This is a 70 Y74 C/S that my dad bought in 70 and it is all numbers matching 350/350

I was lucky enough to drive it my senior year in high school, and yes my first ticket (illegal right turn on red) think the car caught their eye. After high school I joined the Air force and was gone for 25 plus years and nothing was done to the car even with my complaining except neglect (cost too much to fix he said). Well a few years back I finally got the car (hundreds of peices, rather-long story) and took the long path to restoring it. Started with the body off the frame and I finally found a great shop near Richmond VA to do the "resurection" and they are close to being finished. Stripes, basic upholstery and a top is all that remains.

One question for everyone, I am having a bit of trouble locating a good or new rear seat frame. I know that 70-72 A body convertabels all fit but I'd rather find something other than a $500 plus rusted ebay special. Any thoughts or Ideas?

Thanks

Will try to attach a few pics

Good looking car, welcome. You might want to post your seat request in the parts wanted section also.
