!962 Starfire

Wanted one of these since I sold my 60 chevy, prior to that I had a 58 olds 88, and a 65 mustang convertible. This is a clean original driver, 87,000 miles owned since new by one family. Ca car, one cheap re-paint and front seats recovered in the wrong material and color. Im waiting to get new material from SMS and have them recovered. engine is strong, windows and power seat work fine air and heat disconnected. Great driver with nice original chrome and stainless. Love the big GM cars from the late 50s thru early 60s!

Congrats on your newest ride! I have to say, the '62 SF was the rage back in the day, and still retains its popularity today.

Black 62 Starfire would be one of the cars I would own if I had plenty of money.

Yes, pictures please and price if you don't mind. Price helps us all to know what cars are really selling for and not silly NADA book.

love the 57's the interiors stayed pretty much the same on the 58's IMHO some of the best olds ever made. The dashboards on those have so much class.

That is a great looking car. I had one a long time ago, it was red with red. What a great riding car they are. Yours look as complete as can be. Even the stock wheel covers.
Where are you located? I see it still has the black and yellow plates on it, it didn't change hands,in order to keep those plates. Are you the second owner?

Don't forget that the Aluminum side trim is now available in reproduction exactly as original by a guy up in Canada, and he ships World-Wide.... just thought I would pass it along.
