77 Brougham belonging to a Person who has never owned a V8

I am now the proud owner of a 1977 Cutlass Supreme Brougham 403. Previously to this the last car I owned and cared for was a 1992 Talon TSI AWD. I will say though I grew up with my grandfather always working on a 76 Cutlass Supreme 350. That very car gave me the bug to work on cars. Now I'm grown and have a "Man's" Car in this 403 and not a "Teen's" car like the TSI. I want to build this car up and am here to glean some knowledge off of those of you who can provide. I am not looking to build a Drag Racer, Lowrider, or any other crazy setup rather I want a stock level car that shines and rides like new. I apologize if I ranted a bit and pictures of the car are on their way.

Thanks for your time and Knowledge,
-Icee

Pictures will be up as I get a chance.

@oldcutlass Hells yeah man seem to be quite a bit of Olds love in Texas. That being said quite a few of them here are lowriders....eh....

Quick Question: I need to replace the Air Intake Hose and am having trouble locating it. Any ideas where I could find a replacement one or what else I could do?

Not many low rider Olds up here in the DFW area.

Which air intake hose are you referring to?

The Hose coming from under the battery to the big circle with the air filter and carb in it. Accordion style hose with about a 4.12 inch diameter on either end. (Newbieness is showing)

I would go to your local auto parts store and ask to look at one of these:

Thanks Oldcutlass. I tried the local auto part stores over here and no dice. Though I may just end up ordering it online. Currently in the process of getting the AC fixed.
