76 Cutlass Salon

I have been working on a 76 cutlass for a few years now and I finally got around to joining a forum, hopefully this will help with my project. I am currently replacing all the suspension, control arms, steering, ect.. One of the problems I have come across are the inner fenders. They are cracking and I am looking for replacements, any suggestions? Also if anyone has specific places they go for parts that would be a big help. Thanks in advance and I look forward to using these forums.

Nice car and welcome to the forum. Put a list of parts together and post it on the parts wanted forum. Include your location.

Welcome, I had '76 and '77 Cutlass Supreme Broughams' way back when, and if at that time I could have found a Salon, it would have been my first choice.

Beginning with T-Top gaskets...!lol. Hows the rear bumper under structure? Nice car welcome!
Year One and Fusick are beginning to jump on the mid 70s band wagon. Steel Rubber and Inline tube as well. Just put it into your Googler and see what comes up.

The guys on eBay may want $200 a piece for them. But there are plenty of guys that have them on Craigslist or those forums

Yeah, steel rubber has the weather strips for the t-tops. I have been looking, I found some inner fenders for a 76 monte carlo, i know they were the same body style, does anyone know if those are usable?

Without having the wells next to each other Id say no. They are slightly different platforms. If they are cheap all you can do is try. Whats wrong with yours?

Monte and Cutlass inner fenders are not interchangeable. There are a dozen or more Cutlasses sitting in yards in my neck of the woods (MN) that would provide good inner fenders. It would be helpful to know where you're located as shipping these can be expensive due to their size/shape.

Mine are cracked pretty bad and I need to remove them for the work I a currently doing. They are just getting worse and I doubt they will be reusable. I live in northern Illinois.
