Greetings from the mountains of Wyoming! When you live above 7,000' the only common sense build is a truck to my way of thinking. I'm attempting to build the truck Oldsmobile might have..A SWB '90 Silverado rust free super straight Florida truck. The donor was a low mileage? '72 olds wagon, 455 4bbl. Haven't got it out of storage yet, eng and tranny out of vehicle. I want to do a mild top end build using 442 specs. First has anyone tried this transplant. M mounts are no problem, but the T400 in the truck would be nice to use if possible. It has a 350 in it now. I have the olds tranny that needs a rebuild if necessary.I'll use '90 Silerado SS 454 tire and suspension specs. at 70 years old I need one more project LOL. History, '51 chev HT 303 Olds, '57 HT tripower, '67 442 (three on the floor marked fomoco trans!) '70 W30 post car. '71 SS 396 ElCamino, '68 RS/SS Camero convertible w/LT1 4 spd. and 6 vetts '59,'61,'62'..2 '73s and a 454 74 4 spd, '70 1/2 Camero roundy round stocker to name a few. MIGHT have been the reason for a few failed marriages but have a supportive spouse the past 12 yrs so time too move! Thanx for having me. No I'm usually not this windy.
