72 cutlass console

72 cutlass console
I recently removed my old bench seat from my 72 Cutlass S. I am now installing buckets with A console. I already have all the parts. What I need to know is if the two console brackets that go to the floor were welded or screwed on? I also need info on what type of fastener was used to mount the automatic shifter to floor? I'm trying to duplicate the original hardware down to the correct size and style. Also, any one with any information on how the bucket seat brackets were welded to the floor would be appreciated. I'm looking for plug weld locations or straight line weld locations. A diagram of installation would be nice, but I think I would be pushing it. Thanks for any info!

The ones I've encountered were a strip of metal maybe 2 inches wide, right and left welded to the floor. I know the front had studs, but I don't remember if the back did.
I believe the shifter is bolted to the floorpan with sheetmetal threaded bolts, similar to the ones that hold the center caps on SSII wheels with bolt on caps. The console brackets were welded, I believe large tack welds rather than continous beads on the sides.
I've got a couple floorpans, one from a 1971 and the other from a 1972 Cutlass Supremes. They both had buckets with consoles. They're buried in the shed right now, but I'll look to see if I have pictures of them somewhere.
I know this topic has come up before. If you have time try using the search option to see if you can find old threads with pictures attached.
