'70 Supreme

Hello all-

When I step out to the driveway I see a '98 Olds Aurora as my daily driver. When I open the garage, my '94 Cutlass Supreme convertible and '70 Cutlass Supreme hardtop coupe greet me. On the odd trip out to my storage shed, I visit my '55 Super 88 and '86 Cutlass Supreme sedans (both sleeping). When I go visit my Mom, her garage has a '03 Aurora Final 500 and a '04 Alero Final 500.

Some might not run and be all pretty, and some are factory fresh.

I've had to say goodbye to a '93 Supreme, a '96 LSS and a '98 Regency. Every title I've held has had both my name and "Olds" except the one for my wife's truck.

I'm no expert, but I've turned about every bolt on my '70 Supreme...hard not to learn a thing or two over 20 years of Olds V-8's. After 16 years of parts acquisition and $$ saving, my '70 will be going to the shop this fall for a coat of paint & transformation into what I'd have ordered for it back in the day. It will include: W-25 hood/ram air intake, W-27 differential cover with 3.42 posi, 8-track player and courtesy lighting.

I've got lots of questions but hope to be useful too.

Good to be here. I love to see a high-winding W-31 Olds 350. If my QP code 350 ever starts to burn oil, it will get turned into a W-31 clone.

Cheers,

Scotty

Man....it would take a week to gather up pictures of all of them. I'll see what I can scrounge up.

Sounds like a nice stable of cars for the family! Yes pictures are a must around any forum.

A couple pics

The '94 convertible looks great from 20 feet away, but when you get close you see the stone chips and a few dings. But, hey... I don't have to feel bad when the kids climb in and out. I replaced the factory stereo and speakers, but it will need more...those tiny cones in the back just won't cut it. I added C6 Corvette exhaust tips. Otherwise factory. Just rolled 121K

Bad pics I took when the garage door was open. But, there she is. 350/350. 3angle valve job, ported & polished with filled crossovers. Comp Cams XE256H, true dual exhausts, HEI and a B&M street/strip shift kit. . Just got delivered a 3.42 ring & pinion for the "O" style posi carrier I bought years ago. I've been collecting parts for this one for years. I installed a tilt column, found an 8-track player and pieced together a rallye-pac set of gauges & tach & a set of courtesy lights. The factory bucket seats have been redone and the factory AM/FM radio still works. The factory air will be up and running this coming spring when I take it to the body man and have it finished. I have the OAI air cleaner assembly...still doing research on OAI fiberglass repro hoods. It will be the factory color #14 Platinum with a new set of sport mirrors. It has new halogen headlamps and LED cornering and tail lights.

Though it is a 3 speed column shift, I'd like to find a console for it.
