68 Cutlass

Anyone know where I can get the small plastic peices that help hold the chrome trim on the rear quater in place on a 68 cutlass convertible? Its the long peice that travels from the door to almost the bumper.

That's not the right clip. Fusick sells them, page 100 at the top right of this catalog. There's no part number listed. I can tell you they don't fit as well as the originals. I removed the rubber o-ring that comes on them. If you hunt around you can find the clip a lot cheaper by places like GAOldsman linked above. I think, if I remember correctly, the same clip was use on a 64 Malibu

Nearly all of the factory trim clips originally came from Au-Ve-Co. They don't sell direct, but most auto paint stores carry (or can order) their merchandise. NAPA also has a selection of trim clips with samples glued to the pages of their catalog (I just saw one of these for the first time this weekend). Bring an old one to match up.

Local fastener or bolt stores carry Auveco products as well, sometimes in stock.
