67 sway bar

my 67 442 has a front sway bar with the square end used on the 52 series not the round end that is called for on the 442. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable? It seems that it is on to much of and angle where it bolts to the A-arm. Thanks.

The B/C-body cars are wider; the sway bars do not interchange. What is the diameter of the bar? Is this possibly a later Trans Am sway bar that was added by a prior owner?

.922 or about 15/16. That's a good possibility since the previous owner replaced the steering box with a 77 trans am
