67 Cutlass

Would anyone know where I could find a front license plate bracket? I have checked OPG and Yearone nothing below 68 for those mounting brackets?

John, I will check out in the garage today and report back to you. I currently have a '66, '68, and two 69 cars. But I have taken deposits on the older two and hope to have them gone before winter.

That would be great thank you very much. It's good to talk to other cutlass owners not too many around my area. I am looking into getting a 71 but that would be set aside til I get all what I want done to my 67.

No problem at all, I just checked my '66 bumpers and they don't have them, but I do have one off of a '65. It has light surface rust but should clean up nicely with some work.

Not too many Olds guys in my area either, plus I just moved here, so it is nice to talk to others as well. What part of IL are you in?

Bartonville right next to Peoria. If you would like to sell that one I get it and get her cleaned up. There is usually a big car show swap meet in Wisconsin but I missed it this year. It is at a big fairground up there

Sure, how does $40 shipped sound? You probably mean Jefferson? If so you did not miss it, it is coming up next weekend.

Pretty sure 66 didn't use them (merely holes in the bumper) and that a '65 front lic. plate bracket if such a beast exists would be quite diff. from a '67. The 67 is unique to that year, has an offset lower mounting hole in the bumper I think.

Sorry, I don't have one of those. I see them often on ebay though.
