66 toronado heater control

The heater control mounted on the back on the intake manifold has a vaccum hose , I don't know where it is supposed to hook into vaccum system. Can anyone help ? Joe

Are you talking about the water control valve that's on the rear passenger side of the intake? There are a series of color-coded hoses that run from the heater control on the dash to the various vacuum-controlled actuators in the system. The Chassis Service Manual will have a diagram. Other owners of 66 Toros may be able to tell you the correct color hose.
