66 olds need some help with info please
Can anyone give me some ideas or info on the following ??
I have a 66 cutlass with a 1969 350 in it, I have put 4 1/4 inch tall Oldsmobile valve covers from Summit racing on it, now I can't use my old original bracket and power steering pump because it interferes with the front of the valve cover and a height of them. I have just purchased a used power steering pump and bracket I believe that it mounts to the water pump and the timing indicator plate area, with another bracket that goes from the back of the pump to the engine block below the exhaust manifold. I test fit it on there with the fan, the pully does not lineup and the blade of the flex fan wants to touch the pully mounting nut. Does anyone know any info about the correct bracket that I need for this engine? I can attach photos if needed . Thanks

Sound like you got it solved? Welcome to the site!I have been in similar situations with aftermarket parts. It gets even worse with after market parts from 2 different manufacturers. We would love some pics of your 66 OLds.
