I bought this car 35 years ago and well its past due, pulled motor it has 425 instead of 400 I understand few early one had 425 instead of 400 ? block and piston in good shape but heads need a lot of work thought about buying top end kit any suggestions, body in edxtra good shape so thats a plus

There are quite a few guys here who are big 65 fans. You'll get to know them over time. BTW, there's also a great reference site you might want to flag called 442bro.com that has a lot of good info there.

Also, when you start your build post your progress in a new build thread for us to follow. Your camera will be your best friend when you start taking somethings apart. Document EVERYTHING. Also when you pull stuff apart, put all the little pieces into baggies and LABEL everything. Then put it some place where you'll remember it!

None of them had 425s, its a myth.
