65 - 442 Lover
New to the forum, just bought a 1965 cutlass rag-top and figured I'd get on the site with other Olds infected people, you know who you are. My first olds was a 1959 2 dr hard top 88 with a V-8 (371 I think) and Three on the tree. The next one was a brand new 1965 442, holiday coupe, black on black. I loved that car ....... if you can love a car? I think you can love a car ........ well what ever you call it I had it with that car. After that I've had all kind of oldsmobiles and all years. But I've been looking for a 65 442 convertible for the past 4 or 5 years and just couldn't find what I wanted (still haven't for that matter) so I'm still looking but for now I found this rag-top and it followed me home. I'm looking forward to sharing on this site and getting to know a lot of new friends. By the way I live about 15 miles south of Pitts. Pa. Gary
can't seem to put a pic up maybe after I make a couple of post.

Welcome Gary. There are some very knowledgeable Oldsmobile owners on the forum.
Love my 65, I looked and looked for a 65 442 but there are none in Thailand (for that matter no drop tops either) but I did find the only 2 door 65 Cutlass to make me happy.

Welcome 65-442 - I am currently doing a 65 442 hardtop that is black on black - I'll post up some pictures this winter - here is a black convertible that was at the Lansing Olds show this summer

Thanks TK-65 I was not aware of the 65 442 site and forum. As you might expect the last time I had an Olds there was no such thing as a fourm on line. I did retore a 1960 ****** wagon and was active on their site. Thanks again.

Rdrokit: spent a year in thailand back in the late 60's (war you know.)
Yammiman: can't get the link to work. Not sure I want to look at it anyway right now, it'll just make me sad that I had to take second best.
Jamesbo: If I put a Primanti into the fax I'd have to go buy a new fax. They are great and I love the french fries and slaw on top.
You guys are a hoot .........

Gary,
I too am a veteran. Unfortunately I was stationed in Nam. If you were stationed here in Thailand you might want to join a VFW post here. We have 5 Posts here and 1 in Cambodia. I would extend a welcome to join out Post in Korat which I am the commander of. We have 110 members, most were stationed here in Korat and about 50% live in the States. We are very active in community relations and now have a project to remodel a rural school. PM me if you want more info.

Welcome to CO, I couldn't find anything abnormal about the settings on your account. Give another try at pictures, don't forget to click on the upload button after selecting the files you want to share.
