I was left a 1981 cutlassupreme olds mobile. Great Condition. I am looking to increase the horse power and over all performance. My firend suggested getting new headers than a new exhaust. My question is: What headers should I get? I am looking for maximum hp increase . I appreciate your help. Thank you and have a great day.

 

Welcome to the site. Headers are available for your car from any performance vendor at all different price levels.

 

What motor do you have in your Cutlass? I would agree that headers and exhaust are good places to pick up a bit more power, but the amount of additional power you're going to see with a small, low-HP motor isn't going to be much. These mods will also prepare you for a larger motor later though, so if you have a long-range plan, it's not a waste. Just a heads-up, as you stated you're looking for max power.
