Hello everyone, just traded my 97 Intrepid for a 1974 Olds 98. Ive known the car since it was new, a local bought it and only used it to drive to town (15 miles) with an occassional trip to Portland.

I dont want to get too longwinded about it, will post some pictures with more info in a few days when I get my camera back.

Whoa! That's got to be a nice ride. I sure miss my '72 98 Regency...sold it way back in 1978...

Ive been slowly going over all of the hoses that werent replaced and have replaced a couple vacuum hoses that were leaking. And unfortunately the A/C compressor (or maybe the clutch) froze up. Im going to have to clean the carb and get new points, rotor and cap and I do want to get the engine compartment steam cleaned.

But it does ride like an old early 70s American luxury car.....kind of a nice change from what you get today. IMHO
