looking for parts to complete my body off resto on Rallye. newbie to site trying to do my first olds but finding it quite hard to get parts. will post pics when i get them loaded on laptop

Welcome. What parts are you having trouble finding? The 1970-72 cars are well supported by the repro vendors, though you'll never see the same support as for Camaros.

 

Needing a complete a/c box for the firewall . Last guy removed it and put in the blockout plate. So far that has been the hardest part to find. Also need hurst his and hers shifter and console.

 

if the car didn't come with a dualgate I wouldn't go nuts trying to find one. I have a car with one and with out. Although everyone asks me if I have a dualgate I think I used it 5 times in over 25 years. It looks cool but that's it.

 

Seriously? How many do you want? All 1968-72 A-body cars (Cutlass, Chevelle, Lemans, etc) use the same HVAC box. I have at least 2-3 surplus ones myself.

Again, easy to find, just not inexpensive.

 

It did come wite dual gate but mine is rusted beyond repair

 

they are out there. I think they maybe reproducing all the parts for that now as well. Try the partsplaceinc.com
