Anyone know the model number for the Hurst 4 speed shifter? I think 3918014 will fit but most web sellers say not compatible

Hi, Sorry it took so long, Go to http://www.carparts.com/ac-delco Thay use gm part numbers. Hope this helps you out. And as for the water temp it's high.

I don't have first-hand experience with that part number, but the aftermarket Hurst shifter I used on my 72 442 without console years ago looked an awful lot like this one.
