Red face 1969 Olds Delta 88 Royal

Hi everyone I am new here my husband got me a project car for mothers day and its a ran down '69 Delta 88. We live in Marysville, WA and could use some body parts and we removed the vinyl top that was shredded and we are just going to keep it smooth so if anyone wants the trim we removed its in great shape just give us a hollar.

Cool! I gave my wife flowers for Mother's Day. If I ever gave her an old car, she'd shoot me.

Have you ever restored a car before? You should post some photos.

Body parts for these cars are not reproduced. Everything you get will have to come from a donor car. If your needs are extensive, you might consider looking for another, complete car like yours, buying it, and taking the parts off of it.

By the way, the actual word is "Royale" with an "e." I had a '75 Delta 88 Royale once.

Thanks I was unsure of the 'e' at the end. I grew up working on cars with my grandpa and building up Mopars starting in the engine. I am new to this type of vehicle though. I am finding it extremely hard to find a driver side fender. This car was only $50 cash and a driveway pressure wash worth $50 so we are concidering just trying to work out the dents with a puller and just bondo over them to make them smooth then do a MACCO paint job. I would have really went crazy if it was a charger those are to die for in my eyes!!!!!! but 'Ya get what ya get and ya dont throw a fit!' i just love being in the presence of these ol' cars! I got flowers and card to plus a little present but the car is the best! I tried putting up a photo but I guess it didnt work. The engine is good too its the 455. YEAH BUDDY!!!!

I believe the correct spelling is with the "e" at the end of Royale.

Yes it is thank you. Now I just look like a 'ReRe' until I figure out how to fix it! well guess thats the price I pay for being lazy and not just going out and looking at the Royale trim pieces littered all over the car! man this makes me feel ...well ...Dumb.
