I can't tell you know because my references are at home but somebody will probably give you some numbers before the end of the day. I can say that you probably won't get a number on the 4 speed option because I don't think they were tracked by model. Welcome to CO.

According to Setting the Pace, there were 236 1969 Cutlass S convertibles with 6-cylinder engines made and 13,498 8-cylinder engine versions made. Even thought it would have the lesser engine, to have a '69 convertible with a Six would be pretty cool as it would be extremely rare with only 236 made. Probably less than 20 left today.

"Setting the Pace--Oldsmobile's First 100 Years" is a book written to coincide with the Oldsmobile 100th Anniversary celebration which was held in Lansing, Michigan in 1997. It was written by Helen Jones Earley and James Walkinshaw, and a free copy was given to every registrant for that celebration. I took my '75 Delta 88 convertible, which I sold four years later. The book has production numbers, base prices, and some engine information for each year going back to the beginning of Olds in the Appendix sections.

You can pick up a used copy on Amazon for less than $5.00 plus shipping.

It's a great reference to have around. I'm looking in it all the time.

As far as hardtop production numbers, there were 566 1969 Cutlass S Holiday Coupes (which I believe is the hardtop--there's also a Sports Coupe, which I think is the 2-door post) with 6-cylinder engines made and 66,495 Cutlass S Holiday Coupes with V-8s. There was a Cutlass S "V8Sports Coupe" (spelled just like that, with V8Sports all one word) as well, and there were 10,682 of those made. But, again, I think that was a post coupe, not a hardtop.

I don't think 4-speed info exists. If it does, someone's hoarding it.

Why is it high? It's a Cutlass, not a 4-4-2.

Now, with a 4-speed? Let's make that a manual tranny . . . I don't think it would be wrong to speculate less than 500 were built, but ya never know.

I don't understand the connection. What does your car having a 4-speed, posi, and 350 have to do with it being a convertible? (I'm assuming you have a convertible.)

Setting the Pace has no production information down to the level of how many had which rear end or which transmission.
