Hello Everyone,
My name is Jeff I am new to the site.I own a 1969 Cutlass S holiday coupe and to top it off it is a w32 car.I have a few questions for anyone that ma know about 68 or 69 cutlass's. The question I have is my car was originally two tone paint and had the stainless trim that ran along the lower body line on the front fender the doors and the quarter panels. I am deleting this trim from the car and adding the Cutlass S/ 442 trim alone the top of the fenders door and rear quarters. My fenders that i have since being replaced have the trim hole existing from the factory my doors and quarters do not. So my question is does anyone have the specs for the mounting hole locations for these moldings and also know where I can get the mounting hardware? Also if there is anyone that is intrested in the original stainless moldings that run the lower body line I have from the doors back for both sides.

No pics at the moment all the pics I had have gone by the way side when the computer has crashed. I will try and get some up soon from what I have found out based of the little bit that i have found is the 68 & 69 Cutlass S 442 and H/O all had the stainless trim along the fender peak door and on the quarter rapping into the drip rail molding the mounting holes were drilled with like a 3/16 or 1/4 hole and i beleive they use the same mounting clips as the front fender molding but i have no clue as to what the spacing would be and i dont want to go drilling the door and quarter without some type of guide. Maybe this information would be in the body manual?
Welcome. Be aware that in 1969 the W-32 option was only available on the 442. Unless your VIN starts with 344879..., it is unfortunately not a factory W-32 car.

It sounds like you have a Cutlass Supreme, not an S. The supreme had the chrome that went along the bottom of the car. It will be pretty hard to install (weld) the little mounting tabs required to put the peak trim across the door and quarter panel.
I can try and get pics and measurements of the mounting tabs on my parts car if someone doesnt find the info for you.

On the doors there are 2 different types of fasteners used. On the 2 ends a screw on clip is used. Fusick sells them, part# DEM689. The center of the molding was held on by 3 or 4 evenly spaced plastic clips over a metal stud. Fusick part # 81301. Since your car doesnt have the studs the plastic clips can either be screwed or pop riveted on. I beleive the quarter panel used the same plastic clips.The fenders used a metal clip which screwed on from the inside, Fusick part # FFM689, much cheaper on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-SIDE-PEA...item20c0ba6419

Thank you everyone for the info and yes the car is a cutlass supreme I'm sorry I miss posted that.As fare as being a w32 car I don't have the bin off hand to check but is not a 442 but I do know the original block was blown and replaced by the dealer with a 68 block and has the w car heads
I've snapped some pictures of the door and under the rear window. It's like Rob said, a combination of clips similar to what you see on the fender and pins. There's a hole at the front and back of the door, then at the beginning and end of the stainless trim under the back seat window for clips. In between it has pins that a small plastic clip fits over. The distance between pins is different on the door and under the back window. I'm posting a few pictures but have several more on my photobucket site. Yes the fender clips are the same. I didn't remember if the lower trim used the pins, but if that's what you have then yes its the same thing. I'm pretty sure there's a rivit out there being used in place of these pins. I think these pin are the same ones used to hold the windshield stainless clips too. John
