1967 442 I'm looking into buying

A friend of a friend is looking to sell an all original 1967 442 coupe. The friend sold it to his friend years ago. It is a 4 speed car that has not had any work done to it. I have not seen it yet, but I'm told the only issue is some minor surface rust. If it is truly as advertised, what is a ballpark number on the value?

Not much to go on here, need pictures for sure, a solid 4spd 67 442 in my book is in the 5-6000 dollar range. That's assuming minimal rot, original engine, no missing parts. Usually cars like this end up needing a near total do-over.... In May I purchased a 4spd post car 67 442 needing seat and interior door panel work, non running 455. Its a solid car with rot around rear wheelwells. I paid 4500 for it which I thought was fair.

I'm going off the info I am getting from someone I trust that knows the car. Engine and tranny are original. The body has very minimal amounts of surface rust and the interior is not torn up. All parts are there and it runs and drives. I'll get pics when I get a chance to see it in person. I will trust, but verify.
